Local law enforcement report arrests over the weekend. Arrested were the following:
* Jeffrey E. Wright, age 46, of Jamestown, was arrested Friday afternoon by Trooper Billy Begley of the Kentucky State Police. Wright was charged with wanton endangerment, second degree; fleeing or evading police with motor vehicle; two counts of fleeing and evading police, second degree, on foot; resisting arrest; and operating a vehicle on a suspended license. Wright was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center around 5:40 Friday afternoon.
*34 year old Christopher Allen Powell of Dunnville was arrested Saturday morning by Deputy Dial of the Russell County Sheriff’s office. Powell was charged with possession of controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center shortly before noon on Saturday.
