Two persons were arrested over the weekend following a traffic stop.
Reports are that 37 year old Melissa R. Young of Crab Orchard was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday by officer Bobby Pritchard of the Russell Springs Police Department and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Controlled Substances, Operating a Vehicle on a Suspended License, and a warrant for failure to appear.
Also arrested was 41 year old Johnny Williams of Florida. He was charged by Officer Lucas Justice with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
