Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston reports a domestic situation last night in the Salem area of Russell County has resulted in two victims being injured and flown out to the UK hospital and one person under arrest.
Just after 10:00 pm last night, Russell County Dispatch received a call of a motorcycle accident on KY 910 near the Salem school. The suspect, Gregory Adam Feese, age 33 of Columbia, was driving a 2004 Chrysler van and reportedly chasing his girlfriend and another individual on a motorcycle, when he rammed his van into the rear end of the motorcycle, causing both persons to be ejected off the motorcycle. The two persons injured were identified as 50 year old Billy Philpot and 32 year old Candace Price, both of Adair County.
Feese was charged with assault 1st degree, DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and operating on a suspended license.
Feese was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center and the case is still under investigation by Deputy John Wine. Authorities say more charges could be forthcoming when this case is presented to a Russell county grand jury.
Deputy Wine was assisted at scene by the Eli fire department, the Russell county EMS, and other members of the Russell County sheriff’s office.
