Clinton County Schools Suspending In-Person Instruction

One area school system has announced it is suspending in person instruction due to concerns of COVID-19.    In a Facebook Live post Sunday night,  Clinton County school superintendent Tim Parson announced that effective this Wednesday, the school district will offer non- traditional or virtual instruction only, which will continue until the second week of October.   Parson said there are more active cases in Clinton county now than when school started a couple of weeks ago, and health department officials have listed Clinton county now as an area of “critical spread” due to the increasing number of cases.
