The Laker golf team traveled to Weissinger Hills Golf Course in Shelby County on Monday to play in the Rocket Invitational. After two long weather delays, the Lakers posted their lowest team score of the season shooting 323 as a team. The Lakers finished 5th out of the 18 teams. Clay Anderson got second in the tournament and Nick Blakey placed 5th overall. Scores for Russell County were as follows:
