Donald “Shorty” Barrett, age 69, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He was born on July 2, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ola N. and Nannie Pearl Hagy Barrett. Donald was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

1 sister – Nancy Bernard, Russell Springs
1 brother – Ernest Dean Barrett, Shepherdsville, Ky
1 niece – Nicole Barrett Garner, Russell Springs
2 nephews – Joshua Kyle Barrett & Jamie Dean Barrett, of Shepherdsville, Ky
Special friend – Margie Calhoun, Russell Springs
Funeral service for Donald “Shorty” Barrett will be 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2020 in the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Coffey & Bro. Johnny Davis officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment in the New Hope Cemetery.
