The Lake Cumberland District Health Department reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. Adair County led the way in the district with 11 new cases. Russell County had two new cases, Casey 5, Clinton 1, Cumberland 7, Pulaski 7, Taylor and Wayne County each had three new cases of the Novel Coronavirus. One new death was reported in Casey County on Friday. There have now been 37 deaths in the district from the virus.
