Two persons were arrested early Monday morning after Columbia city police officers conducted a knock and talk at a residence with suspected drug activity.
Reports are that once contact was made with a person at the residence on Guthrie Street in Columbia, officers detected an odor of marijuana
Arrested at the scene was 58-year-old Deanna Cooper of Columbia who was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine. Also, Roger Janes, age 55, of Columbia, was taken into custody for an active warrant stemming from previous drug charges.
