A vehicle fire yesterday afternoon on the Cumberland Parkway completely destroyed a tractor-trailer truck and resulted in traffic being backed up for quite some time.

Bottom says the Russell Springs Department was assisted on the scene by the Eli Fire Department and both departments were on the scene for about three hours. No one was injured in the mishap. The truck and trailer were owned by the Walbert Trucking Company of Glasgow.
