Three persons were arrested last night in Russell County after sheriff’s department officers executed a search warrant in the Eli community.
Sheriff Derek Polston says the search warrant was executed at a residence just off highway 76 on Stanelle Road. The three individuals arrested were charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and other Drug related charges, all enhanced by a firearm. Arrested were 38 year old Angela Passmore; 35 year old Kenneth Dyer, and 30 year old Rikkie Brassfield.
Dyer was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and Brassfield was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.
Confiscated during the search was Methamphetamine, over $7,000 in cash, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
All were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. Deputy Sheriff Kenny Perkins is the investigating officer and more arrest could be forthcoming. Assisting at the scene were other members of the sheriff’s department and State Trooper Billy Begley.
