New COVID-19 Cases in Russell County

The weekend was not good for COVID-19 cases in Russell County.    On Saturday, County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced that Russell County had FIVE new confirmed cases.   This was in addition to the THREE announced last Thursday and the TWO new cases on Friday.    Russell County now has 17 active cases of the virus, the most in the county since the pandemic began.   16 of those are on home, self-isolation, while one person is hospitalized in Danville.

The new cases announced on Saturday include four females, ages 62, 60, 59 and 27, and a 12-year-old male
