The Lake Cumberland District Health Department reported last night one death in the area yesterday from COVID-19. The death was a 73 year old male from Casey County. It was the third day in a row of a reported death in the area.
In Russell County, there were no new cases reported yesterday. There are still 20 active cases in the county, all of whom are on home isolation.
There were 25 new cases yesterday in the Lake Cumberland area, with five from Casey County, six from Green County, five from Taylor County, and four from Wayne County.
