The Russell County Courthouse is set to open back up to the public next week. County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson told WJRS NEWS plans are being made to open the doors to the public on Wednesday, July 8th. Robertson said he is working to ensure a person is on hand at the front door to log the names of all persons entering, take the temperatures of any person entering the courthouse, and ensure facial masks are being worn by all persons inside the courthouse.
Robertson also said any office inside the courthouse that cannot keep employees at least six feet apart during business hours will be required to reduce staff by 50 percent.
