Yesterday, 203 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across Kentucky, but none of those from Russell County.
Governor Andy Beshear cautioned everyone to remember that “COVID-19 is still out there, it spreads aggressively and it can be deadly”.
Beshear said three things Kentucky residents need to continue doing: Socially distance, wash your hands and wear a mask; those are critically important.
Seven new deaths were reported on Tuesday, raising the total to 512 Kentuckians lost to the virus.
Russell County currently has 9 active cases, with 8 on home isolation and one person in the hospital in Somerset.
