An apparent jump from 76 Falls into the waters of Lake Cumberland led to one juvenile being seriously injured.
WJRS News has learned that shortly before 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon, 9-1-1 dispatchers in Albany received a call for help, stating that a juvenile had jumped from 76 Falls and was coughing up blood.
First responders from Albany and Clinton County responded to Grider Hill Dock, then were taken to the location of the juvenile.
Upon return to the dock, the juvenile was airlifted from the scene for further medical treatment. No additional information was available last night. The matter is being investigated by officers with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
