Voters in the 83rd legislative district should find out today who will serve as their State Representative come January.
County clerks in Russell, Clinton and Cumberland counties are set to release their county vote totals from last Tuesday’s primary election. Clinton County officials have said their vote totals will be released at 8 o’clock this morning, while Cumberland County Clerk Kim King says her office will release results sometime this morning, and Russell County Clerk Sue Brockman said her office will release results at 4:30 this afternoon.
WJRS NEWS will have a special report this morning, shortly after 8 o’clock, when the Clinton County results are released. Jeff Hoover and Tony Kerr will be on the radio this afternoon at 4:30 for a special election coverage report.
