Russell County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced on Sunday evening that for the 6th consecutive day, Russell County had no new cases of COVID-19. Russell remains at a total of 16 cases with 8 being released from self-isolation and 2 deaths. There are still 6 active cases in home or nursing home isolation.
Adair County reported on Sunday no new cases of the virus, but unfortunately had two more deaths who were residents at Summit Manor Nursing Home.
Adair now stands at 78 total cases with 9 being released and 9 deaths.
60 cases are still active with 48 of those are in home or Summit Manor Nursing Home Isolation and 12 are in area hospitals.
