54-year-old Bill Peterson of Russell County was arrested by Trooper Billy Begley and charged with Possession of a controlled substance, second degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; Trafficking in a Legend Drug, first degree, and parole violation warrant. Peterson was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center shortly after 8 o’clock last night.
