A burn ban is now in effect now and will run through April 30th.
According to the Kentucky Divison of Forestry, during this time no burning will be permitted between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
It is also illegal to have a fire burning within 150 feet of any woodland or brush land.
Officials remind people that all fires should be attended to until they are extinguished.
