Signups Underway for Rogers Scholars, Explorers, or ELI Summer Programs

Local middle and high school students can now apply for The Center for Rural Development’s 2020 Rogers Scholars, Rogers Explorers, or ELI summer programs for students in grades 8-11. The deadline to apply for Rogers Scholars is January 24, 2020. If selected, students will attend camp in one of two locations—Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY, or Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. The deadline to apply for Rogers Explorers is February 7, 2020. Rogers Explorers is coordinated by The Center in partnership with the University of the Cumberlands, Lindsey Wilson College, Eastern Kentucky University, Asbury University, Morehead State University, University of Pikeville, and Union College. The deadline to apply for the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute is March 6, 2020. The purpose of ELI is to develop future business leaders and entrepreneurs in Southern and Eastern Kentucky.
