The Russell County Public Library holds its grand opening in Jamestown today. A full day of events gets underway at 9 am this morning with a flag unveiling and honoring of local veterans by the Russell County Honor Guard. Then, at 10:30 am, the dedication of the new facility takes place along with a celebratory ribbon-cutting and special remarks. At noon, the monthly meeting of the Russell County Chamber of Commerce gets underway with guest speaker, Senator Max Wise. During this time, all library services will be suspended and will resume at 1 pm.
