Gas Prices Cheaper this Week

Gas prices in our region of Kentucky are four cents cheaper this week at $2.30, according to Triple A’s Gas Price Report. Prices in Russell County are around the $2.26 mark. Year-over-year, gas prices in the region are more expensive, ranging from nearly a dime to 50 cents more than mid-December 2018. Today’s national average is $2.55, which is nearly a nickel cheaper than the beginning of the month and is two cents cheaper than last week, but 18 cents more expensive than this time last year.
