The students participated in the 2019 Appalachian Rifle Match at David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
According to russellcountyhigh.com, three different teams competed for RCHS that finished in 10th, 11th, and 15th place. Each competitor had the opportunity to shoot 20 shots in each of three positions of prone, standing, or kneeling and earn up to 10 points per round.
Competitors who represented RCHS were Leo Siler, Kenzie Stargle, Jonathan Tharrett, Christian Bishop, Blake Vandevelde, Bryson McGowan, Layton Garner, Hayden Mann, Colby Lawson, Faith Kean, and Emma Nichols.
