The Russell County High School Mighty Laker Marching Band will participate in the the Kentucky Music Educators Association Class 3A Semifinals on Saturday. Semifinals will be held at five separate sites from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
Russell County will be one of 16 Class 3A bands at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, and will take the field at 2:15 pm. From each of the sites, four finalist bands will be chosen from each classification. Finals will then begin at 6 pm at Houchens Industries – L.T. Smith Stadium on the campus of Western Kentucky University Saturday night.
Under director Curtis Ervin, this year’s show is entitled “The Better Machine.”
