On Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported than an earthquake occurred in our region of southern Kentucky this past Saturday afternoon.
The 2.7 magnitude earthquake occurred between Somerset in neighboring Pulaski County and London, about 13 miles from downtown Somerset, at a depth of nearly three and a half miles.
