Man Charged with Armed Robbery Last Summer Enters Guilty Plea

Patrick Hardin, the man charged with the armed robbery of the A/V Food Mart in Russell Springs last summer, has entered a guilty plea in Russell Circuit Court and will receive 10 years in prison, according to court records.

Terms of the plea state that his first degree robbery charge be amended to second degree for a sentence of 10 years, and five years each for his theft by unlawful taking over $500 charge and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon charge, each to run concurrently for a total sentence of 10 years. He was also ordered to pay $700 in restitution to the business owner.

Hardin’s formal sentencing will be on October 22nd.
