Russell County Emergency Management Director HM Bottom was inducted into the Kentucky Emergency Managers Association Hall of Fame on Thursday night during the association’s annual conference in Louisville.
Bottom has been the local emergency manager for 26 years and the association honored him last night with a plaque and standing ovation in front of his family. Bottom’s latest accolade adds to his collection as during 2014-15 he was named volunteer fire chief of the year by the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs.
