The Eli Volunteer Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross for a smoke detector installation program. Sign-up sheets are available at many churches in the Eli community and at the Eli Country Store. The smoke detectors are free to each home that signs up. Two detectors will be given for each home and will be installed by the Eli firefighters.
