The search of a residence resulted in suspected methamphetamine and an arrest early Thursday morning by the Russell Springs Police Department. Just after 3:30 am Officer Lucas Justice conducted a search of a residence for a male known to have active warrants. Upon the search, Officer Justice located illegal items in plain sight. As a result, Justin Sharp, 31, of Russell Springs was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offence (meth), Drug Paraphernalia – buy/possess, and served with active warrants. Officer Justice was assisted on scene by Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Nathan Bradshaw.
Sharp was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
