RC Residents Indicted in Adair County

A couple of Russell County residents were indicted by the Adair County Grand Jury this week, according to court records.

Indicted were the following:

  • Roger Dean Weston, of Russell Springs, was charged with receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000, four counts of being a persistent felony offender, 1st degree, trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or subsequent offence, 2 grams or more of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, obscuring the identity of a machine, $500 or more but less than $10,000.
  • Dana M. Kinnett, of Jamestown, was charged with receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000 three counts of being a persistent felony offender, 1st degree, trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or subsequent offense, 2 grams or more of methamphetamine, and tampering with physical evidence.

WJRS would like to remind everyone that an indictment is only an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent and are entitled to a fair trial, at which time their guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
