The Lady Laker volleyball team was in action at Campbellsville High School on Monday evening. The freshmen Lady Lakers won 21-15, 21-15, the JV won 21-15 and then were defeated 21-18, 21-10 and the varsity won 25-16 and then were beaten 25-15, 25-19. Russell County is back at it tonight at home as they host Southwestern for freshmen, JV and varsity matchups, beginning at 4:30.
The RCMS girls’ basketball teams played in Clinton County on Monday evening. The 6th grade won 28-3, the 7th grade won 30-24 and the 8th grade squad fell to the Lady Bulldogs by a score of 30-24. The teams are on the road at Metcalfe County for 6th, 7th and 8th grade games. Tip off of the first game is at 4:30 today.
The Russell County Middle School football team is on the road tonight for a 5 pm matchup at Clinton County in Albany.
