Over the weekend, WJRS reported that during Friday’s special called meeting of the Russell County Fiscal Court the county was notified they were for more than $100,000 in discretionary funds for resurfacing work on several roads. Today we hear from Gov. Matt Bevin, who was in town and spoke at the meeting on Friday…
The work will take place on Tarter Lane, Woolridge Schoolhouse Road and A.B. Roy Road, according to the state transportation cabinet.
The Russell County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work, and KYTC will reimburse the county for the projects.
