A domestic dispute off North 127 on Thursday resulted in the arrest of Jaylan Waddell, 23, of Russell Springs, according to Sheriff Derek Polston. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault 4th domestic violence. Deputy Kenny Perkins was the investigating officer and Chief Deputy Jerry Melton assisted at the scene.
Polston also said that on Wednesday, Logan Sprague, 30, of Russell Springs, was arrested in the Webb’s Cross Roads community on a warrant charging him with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd offense methamphetamine by Deputy Luke Hughes. This stemmed from an investigation by Deputy Nathan Ginn. The case will be presented to the Russell County Grand Jury in an upcoming session.
