A one-vehicle wreck in the Nancy community in neighboring Pulaski County on Tuesday injured a Nancy man, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
A 2003 Toyota Tundra being driven by 59-year-old Ernest Larch was traveling westbound on KY 196 when he lost control of the vehicle and struck an embankment and overturned. The truck, which was pulling a small fishing boat, sustained major damage while the boat and trailer received only minor damage, according to authorities. Police believe wet roads may have been a contributing factor in the accident.
Larch was taken to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Nancy Fire Department assisted the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
