Muggy Conditions with Isolated Showers and Storms Continue Today

Hope all of you are having a wonderful Sunday. Our warm and muggy conditions continue today with that afternoon chance of showers and thunderstorms. Storms will pop up in random places like they have been doing and some will see some storms and some will not.

There’s the forecasted max temperatures for today. Western Kentucky will be close to the low 90’s while our temperatures in the Lake Cumberland Area will be in the upper 80’s. Here’s the latest hour-by-hour radar…

You can see storm will just fire up in random spots in the Commonwealth during the afternoon hours as we get into that day time heating. There will again be nothing widespread, but if you get under one of these storms, expect lightning, gusty winds, heavy rainfall. Monday looks good with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80’s. As always check back for updates or changes in the forecast.
