Anna Gosser, former 5th grade students at Russell Springs Elementary, received a blue ribbon in the 11-year old speech category. Her speech title was “The Best Christmas Present Even.” Anna’s parents are Joe and Julianne Gosser.
This is the culminating event in the 4-H speech and demonstrations competitions. The event was held on the University of Kentucky campus and sponsored by the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment.
Russell County 4-H youth qualified for the state competition by receiving champion honors at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Showcase of Stars in May.
