A head-on collision involving two boats on Saturday landed a Nicholasville man in the Russell County Detention Center, according to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
The collision happened near Lowgap Island on Lake Cumberland and sent two individuals to the Russell County Hospital with minor injuries.
Terry Ashley, 48, was arrested on several charges, including wanton endangerment and operating a boat while intoxicated or under the influence.
He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
