Unsettled Weather Continues

Good Tuesday, everyone. We are starting off the day with showers and a few rumbles of thunder this morning. Let’s check out the visible satellite as of 9:30 this morning…

A lot of cloud cover is over the area with those showers and thunderstorms that are in the area. Could still see some rain chances as we head into the afternoon and evening hours. Here’s the hour by hour through 11:00 pm this evening…

You can see these will be of the scattered variety. We are in this time of the year where we will have these pop up showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours. We cannot say exactly when and where one of these will pop up so just make sure and be aware that most days during the summer anybody can get an isolated shower or storm.

Wednesday

It looks like we could see the potential at least for a few strong to severe thunderstorms on Wednesday. Here’a the latest outlook from the Storm Prediction Center for Wednesday…

 

There’s the newest severe weather outlook for Wednesday. That yellow level 2 “Marginal Risk” is now creeping much closer to us here in the Lake Cumberland Area. Keep in mind this will still more than likely be adjusted as we get into the day on Wednesday.
