Strong to Severe Storms are again Possible Today

Good Monday, everyone. After an active weekend with numerous severe thunderstorms warnings being issued in the Lake Cumberland Area, and numerous reports of damage, the threat for severe weather does again exist today. Here’s the latest from the Storm Prediction Center…

SPC has that level 2 yellow “Slight Risk” that goes from just east of I-65 all the way through eastern Kentucky. The entire Lake Cumberland Area is included in that slight risk zone. Here’s the hour by hour radar…

You can see it looks like the best chance of storms will be through the early afternoon hours. We will of course keep an eye on all of this, and should any watches or warnings be issued, we will make sure and let you know about it.
