A one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle occurred this (Friday) morning on highway 619. The accident occurred at 10:40 am when Josh Wheeler, who was operating a 1996 motorcycle was driving on highway 619 north when a car pulled out in front of the motorcycle. Wheeler laid the motorcycle down anticipating the collision.
He was transported to Russell County Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The accident is being investigated by Deputy Dustin Bunch and Constable Richard Wooldridge. They were assisted at the scene by Russell County EMS and the Russell Springs Fire Department.
