The Russell County bass fishing team fished the TBF national championship this past week. Russell County had two teams in the tournament with Kyle Roy and Jesse York and Dylan Stringer and Branson Campbell. They were in competition with 386 boats from all over the country as well as from several other countries. Kyle and Jesse finished in 18th place, only missing the top 10 cut by 1 pound and a few ounces while Dylan and Branson finished in 174th place. The bass fishing team wishes to thank all of their sponsors for their continued support this season.
