The City Of Jamestown Will Soon Have Two New Officers On Patrol In The City

The City Council approved the hiring last night.

Mayor Nick Shearer told WJRS News Director Mike Scales, that the majority of the money used to pay the officers salary, will come from the regulatory fee for alcohol sales in the city limits. Shearer also stated those fees will be making possible the purchase of material needed to educate students at Jamestown Elementary on the abuse of drugs and alcohol.
