Jamestown Elementary School is in the process of selecting a new principal. The Site Based Decision Making Council (SBDMC) completed principal selection training from the Kentucky Association of School Councils on Friday, July 18th.
The Site Base Council would like for you to rate the importance of the draft principal selection criteria outlined in a survey found on the school district’s website. The survey can be located by going to www.russell.kyschools.us<http://www.russell.kyschools.us> and selecting “Jamestown Elementary School Principal Selection Criteria”. Paper copies of the survey can also be completed at the Russell County Board of Education between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. PLEASE COMPLETE THE SURVEY by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23rd. Jamestown Elementary encourages all constituents-faculty/staff, parents and community members to participate in the survey.
