Tessari pinned three opponents over two days of action and earned MSC Wrestler of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.

Three Blue Raiders joined Tessari in placing at the MVC Invite. Daniel Leonard (No. 5 at 149) and Rhodes Bell placed sixth at 149 and 174 pounds, respectively, and Diorian Coleman (No. 9 at 165) finished seventh at 165 pounds.

In addition, Colton Gonzalez (No. 9 at 174) and Ameer Daniels fell one victory short of reaching the placement matches at 174 and 285 pounds, respectively.

Life is 4-1 in conference action with victories over Truett-McConnell (Ga.), Campbellsville (Ky.), Southeastern (Fla.) and Reinhardt (Ga.).

The Running Eagles boast four wrestlers ranked in the top 16 of their respective weight classes, including Dalton Bailey, the top-ranked grappler at 197 pounds.

Brewton-Parker sits at 3-2 in the MSC standings while St. Andrews is only 1-6 against conference opponents.
