The Lindsey Wilson men’s and women’s track teams competed at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invite on Friday at the Doden Fieldhouse.
DeQuan Robinson finished in first-place in the 55-meter dash and the 200 meter. Robinson finished with a time of 6.44 seconds and a “B” standard time of 22.32 in the 200 meter.
Anthony Thompson won both the long jump and triple jump. In the long jump he leapt a distance of 6.24 meters and a distance of 13.83 meters in the triple jump.
Christian Davis finished second in the 55 meter and Holt Keeling placed fourth. Keeling also finished second in the 200 meter-dash with a time of 22.71 seconds and Christian Davis finished fourth. Dakotah Dunn finished third in the shot put and fourth in the weight throw.
Rachel Green, Alexia DeHaven-Boyd, Annesha Harris and Vashawnda Smith all picked up victories in the meet. Green won the high jump with a distance of 1.55 meters. DeHaven-Boyd took first in the 55-meter dash, while Harris was victorious in the long jump with a distance of 5.14 meters. Smith won the 200 meter with a time of 26.31.
DeHaven-Boyd also finished in third in the 200 meter and the 400-meter dash. Tatiana Williams finished tied for third in the high jump and fifth in the long jump. Harris also finished third in the triple jump.
Paige Pettell finished second in the shot put with a distance of 12.03 meters and Taylor Bent placed ninth.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Feb. 10 at the Indiana University Hoosier Hills.
