We are finally wrapping up the work week and the heat has been in full force this afternoon. Temperatures have been into the 90’s with the feels like temperatures in the triple digits. That darker pink area is the Excessive Heat Warning which does include Russell County and it will be in effect until 7:00 pm Sunday evening while everyone else is in that orange area which is a Heat Advisory. Saturday will be a lot like today was and then showers and storms return Sunday…
