Doyle Marion Popplewell, age 70, of Russell Springs died Monday at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehab Center in Somerset. Anthony Lee Wooten, age 48

Anthony Lee Wooten, age 48, of Jamestown, died Saturday at his home. He is survived by two sons:  Josh Wooten of Elkhorn, Kentucky, and Corey Wooten, of Radcliff, Kentucky. Several Charged With Drug Possession

Local and state police made four separate arrest Sunday involving illegal drug possession. Police reports show that Dana Anderson, 34, of Russell Springs was arrested by Deputy Sheriff David Cain on a warrant for Flagrant Non-Support of a Child. New Major Hotel Coming to Somerset

The Kentucky Tourism Development Finance Authority has approved incentives for construction of a new 105 room hotel development in Somerset.
