Mighty Laker Band Plate Lunch Fundraiser

The Mighty Laker Band will have a Chicken Salad plate lunch fundraiser Friday, February 10th from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Lunch will include:

Chicken Salad on Croissant
Pasta Salad
Chips
Dessert

Plates will be $6.00 and you may place your order by calling Anna Garner at 866-1495, by faxing your order to 866-9266 or emailing them to russellcountymom@yahoo.com. Orders must be placed by February 6th. All lunches will be delivered and all proceeds go toward the Mighty Laker Band program.

Dunbar Hill Community Church Building Fundraiser

Dunbar Hill Community Church will have a building fundraiser on February 3rd from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Russell County Rescue Squad. There will be gospel singing by “Heaven Bound” and “Heavenly Vision”. There will also be a supper and silent auction. Everyone is invited for a good time of fun and fellowship.

Union Chapel Elementary PTO Rook Tournament Fundraiser

Union Chapel PTO will have a Rook Tournament fundraiser at the Russell County Sportsman’s Club February 18th at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee will be donations. Country hams will be given to the winners and canned hams for the runner-up team. A Canned ham will be given to the winner of consolation round and a deck of Rook cards for the runner up. All proceeds will to Union Chapel Elementary PTO. Concessions will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited for a fun filled night of Rook, food and fun! RCH First Annual Valentine’s Gala Fundraiser

The Russell County Hospital will have it’s first Annual Valentine’s Gala Fundraiser! Everyone is invited to attend on Saturday, February 11 th from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Russell County Auditorium/Natatorium on Highway 127 in Russell Springs. There will be a dinner catered and dancing with musical entertainment provided by Erica Martin and Kickstart. There will also be a silent auction with numerous items. All the proceeds will benefit the Russell County Hospital Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at Sheldon Stephen’s Office, Montgomery Furniture or contact Patricia Rippatoe, Executive Director at 866-3153.

Tickets are $150.00 per couple of $500.00 per table (Each table seats 6) Share a delightful evening with your loved one while supporting the community.

Medal of Honor Recipient Sgt. Dakota Meyer Appearing At Special Event In Somerset

Dakota Meyer will be appearing at a fundraising event for his “Honor Marines By Educating Their Children” scholarship fund and the Somerset Christian School Senior Class Trip on Saturday, February 4th.
