Three more persons have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Russell Springs businessman this past Thursday.
Russell Springs Police have charged Bobby Beard, age 42, Eric Burton, age 38, and 29 year old Vincent Lynch, all of Russell Springs, with 1st Degree Robbery.
Beard and Burton were arrested Saturday night….Lynch was arrested around 1:30 Monday morning….all three are lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
Also charged a short time after the robbery was 43 year old William Brian Patten.
Chief Joe Irvin told WJRS NEWS that Trooper Martin Wesley, a certified scuba diver, recovered a pistol and clothing believed to have been used to commit the robbery in about 60 feet of water near the Lily Creek Boat Ramp Sunday evening.
All four men are accused of working together to rob Theo Branscum of cash moments after Patten met and paid Branscum money he owed him.
