Russell County Man Accused Of Embezzling Over $600,000 From Bruss North America
A Russell County man is accused of embezzling some $625,000 from his employer, Bruss North America, in Russell Springs. Kyle W. Robertson, 32, of Russell Springs was arrested late Thursday night by KSP Detective B.J. Burton on 32 counts of Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $10,000….36 counts of Misuse of Electronic Information….and 4 counts of Theft By Unlawful Under $10,000. KSP alleges between April 28, 2008 through January 14, 2013 that Robertson, while employed at Bruss NA, made 36 electronic wire transfers from the company’s account with a New York bank to a personal account held by Robertson at the Monticello Banking Company in Russell Springs. The wire transfers totaled $625,096.41 according to Det. Burton. Robertson was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. The State Police investigation is ongoing.
